How to get the most of your care at Salt Chiropractic

Chiropractic care works best with consistent input over time. Missed or widely spaced appointments slow progress, which is why your schedule has been designed in advance.
The points below explain how care works at Salt Chiropractic and how to get the most from it.
Appointment rhythm & timing
Because consistency matters, appointments are scheduled at specific intervals for a reason.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
In which case, you’ll receive a text with rescheduling options and may be followed up by phone if needed.
If you know you’re running late, please contact the clinic as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy (12 hours)
We require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations and missed appointments limit access for other clients and disrupt care plans. If something unavoidable comes up, please let us know as early as you can, we understand things happen. However, repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of the visit or a cancellation fee.
App access & managing your care
Salt Chiropractic uses an app to manage appointments and provide access to your images and prescribed exercises.

Once downloaded, log in using your usual details.
The app is the primary way to manage your schedule and access care-related information between visits.

Phone calls are answered Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, via our answering service. There may occasionally be a short delay before your call is answered.
The answering service has limited access and can assist with basic administrative requests, including appointment changes where appropriate or passing on a message.
For non-urgent requests, using the app or sending a text is often the quickest option.

Your appointment time is dedicated to your care.
To keep your visit focused and unhurried, administrative requests such as changing appointment days or times, adjusting future bookings, or managing upcoming holidays are best handled outside of your adjustment time.

Questions are always welcome and important.
If you’d like time to discuss your care, progress, or concerns in more detail, this can be scheduled as a separate special consultation outside normal adjusting time, giving you dedicated, uninterrupted time to talk things through.

In the uncommon situation where you need to end your care plan early, for example due to relocation or major life changes, this should be discussed with Dr Andy.
Any outstanding fees will be due at that time. If a refund is applicable, it will be processed once the required details are provided.
